About the music & arts center

The Music & Arts Center is a non-traditional, highly specialized club from the Boys & Girls Clubs of Benton and Franklin Counties.

Our Mission Statement: To empower all young people, especially those who need us most, to reach their full potential as productive, caring, responsible citizens.

At the Music & Arts Center, we carry out our mission through arts-related programming.

Created in 2004, the Music & Arts Center, also known as the MAC, was developed to give youth across the Tri-Cities community a unique opportunity to learn about various aspects of music and the arts. Since its creation, the Music & Arts Center has expanded its educational outreach into areas of dance and technology. Over the past 14 years, MAC programs and members have received numerous local, regional, state, national, and international awards for their outstanding work, innovative creations, and artistic achievements.

Today, the MAC offers dozens of afternoon, evening, weekend, and summer-camp-style programs focused on music, art, dance, and technology for youth 5 - 22 years old. Our classes are taught by knowledgeable instructors who are committed to giving all youth in our community a high quality educational experience in the arts.
